Melanie Jaindl is a master‘s student of Southeast European Studies, and working as assistant for the CSEES. She is also working as assistant editor at the Institute for the Danube Region and Central Europe (IDM). She finished her Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Public Relations at FH Joanneum Graz, where she assumed the position of the editor in chief of the Balkan-magazine “Blank 11”. Jaindl has written for Der Standard, Die Kleine Zeitung, and VICE Media. Her research focuses on media, gender, and migration, with particular focus on Southeastern Europe.
Fynn-Morten Heckert is currently a student of Southeast European Studies at University of Graz, where he works as student assistant. Before, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in history and political science at the University of Kiel, Germany and was employed there as student assistant at the Department for Eastern European History. He also was an intern at “Zeitgeschichte Online” at the Centre for Contemporary History in Potsdam, Germany.
Laura Schatz is currently enrolled in the Joint MA Southeast European Studies and in the Law programme at the University of Graz. In addition to her bachelor studies in EU and Comparative Law at Maastricht University, she acquired practical experience in Berlin, Brussels and Prishtina. Laura’s field of interest concerns minority rights in Southeast Europe as well as EU Enlargement policy.
