The World Bank team led by Natasha Rovo, Senior Economist, and Richard Record, Program Leader, will present the Western Balkans Regular Economic Report. The report is the World Bank's flagship semiannual publication that covers economic developments, prospects, and policies in the six economies of the Western Balkans: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia.
This fall's edition titled: “Toward Sustainable Growth” looks at the economic impact of the shocks from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, sticky inflation, and tighter financial conditions. The report’s Spotlight focuses on agriculture as an important sector that can help Western Balkan countries toward their development, greening their economies, and accessing the European Union market.
